After completing the GMAT 2023-24 exam students will be provided with five scores namely Integrated Reasoning, Analytical Writing Assessment, Verbal, Quantitative, and Total. The overall GMAT score of the candidate depends on the Verbal and Quantitative GMAT scores which were combined to form the final score.
The Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing assessment results have no bearing on the final GMAT score. Furthermore, students also get a percentage score which indicates how well they scored in comparison to the other 100 GMAT candidates. For instance, if the verbal section score is in the 90th percentile, the student will be 90 candidates ahead of the competition for all GMAT 2023-24 test takers.
It is important to note that the GMAT's total score, which ranges from 200 to 800, is determined by adding the sub-scores from the verbal and GMAT Quantitative Reasoning parts. Each GMAT test segment is scored on a scale from 6 to 51 points, and the overall GMAT score is graded from 200 to 800 points.
It is crucial to understand how well the GMAT test is graded if the student is preparing for the exam. The focus should not be only on the overall GMAT score; the score obtained for each section must also be considered. The results of each segment reveal a significant amount of information about student’s abilities and weaknesses.

Prepare to Ace the GMAT with Us!
It is a myth that a GMAT score of 700 or more is good. What constitutes a good GMAT score relies primarily on the college and course of choice, to answer the question. To prepare for the GMAT test targeted score could be a good starting point. The majority of students who take the exam perform worse than those who can get a score of at least 600 points, according to statistics.
Candidates with GMAT scores above 600 are typically considered to have above-average GMAT scores, which fall into a different category from a good score. It is a well-known truth that candidates must score considerably above 700 points to get admission to the best business schools. While the majority of candidates who will score under 700 points might retake the GMAT exam to improve their performance, it would be ridiculous for a candidate who has already achieved a GMAT score of 710 to undertake such an attempt.
