Admission Timeline

To apply for a UG program in China, you must:

  • Choose the course you wish to pursue
  • Select the universities where you want to apply
  • Check that you meet all eligibility requirements
  • Find out the application deadline dates
  • Gather all necessary documents (academic transcripts, SOPs, LORs, etc.)
  • Take the required standardized tests (IELTS/TOEFL, etc.)
  • Apply via the official website of the university
  • Pay the application fees & submit all documents

Once you send in your applications, you'll receive the results within a few weeks, after which you can apply for a student visa.

Some Chinese universities charge a minimum application fee ranging from USD 30 – USD 150 (approx. INR 2,400 – INR 12,000), while others don’t. Additionally, you must bear the application fees for English language proficiency tests like the IELTS/TOEFL, which are approximately INR 15,500.

To apply for postgraduate courses in China, you must:

When applying to PG programs in China directly through the admission portals on the university’s websites, you might have to pay a processing fee ranging from USD 30 – USD 150 (approx. INR 2,400 – INR 12,000). However, CUCAS does not charge any application fee. Additionally, you must bear the costs of language proficiency tests (approx. INR 15,500) and other entrance tests as required by the institute.

To apply for MBA courses in China, you must:

  • Shortlist the MBA programs of your choice
  • Ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements (some institutes require you to provide your GMAT/GRE scores or have at least 2-3 years of work experience if required)
  • Apply through the official university website
  • Fill out the application form and pay the application fees
  • Upload all relevant documents
  • Attend the interview (if needed)

Once you pass the review and interview round and are formally admitted, you can pay the course fees and receive the invitation letter.

When applying to MBA courses in China, you must pay a minimal non-refundable processing fee if required. This usually ranges from USD 30 – USD 150 (approx. INR 2,400 – INR 12,000) but is subject to change depending on the university. In addition, you'll have to bear the GMAT/GRE fees of USD 250 (approx. INR 20,000) and the TOEFL/IELTS exam fee, which is approximately INR 15,500.
