What Is SAT Math Format?

The math test has two portions as indicated through the content specifications every year. One portion gets 55 minutes to cover and for the other portion, the time allotted is 25 minutes. For the first part, the student needs to solve 38 questions and in the second portion, the student needs to cover 20 questions.

In the second portion, the student will not be allowed to use a calculator, while in the first portion, the student will be allowed to use a calculator and answer the 38 questions. This section includes five sections writing, reading, and solving math both with and without calculators. The SAT is a paper-based test that is often administered at schools around the country throughout the year on a few select dates and postulated times.
